You need exactly zero experience to play in Stonewall KC. You could be Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley or, more likely, someone who hasn’t played an organized sport since gym class. Everyone is welcome.
We are a community organization first and a sports organization second. While we encourage everyone to get into the game and play to win — fun and belonging are our top priorities.
Many of our sports also have multiple divisions, which range from social to more competitive.
Yes! For most of our leagues, you can sign up as a free agent. We’ll place you with a team, or you can find one during our pre-season free agent social.
Yes. Yes. Yes. We welcome everyone regardless of age, orientation, sex, ability, religion, number of cats owned — or any other point of identity you can think of. You belong here.

Free agents are players who aren’t committed to a team. Most of our leagues have an option to sign up as a free agent. Free agents are placed with teams after registration closes. Or, they can match up with a team anytime before games begin.
To join a team, you’ll need the approval of the team’s captain. Contact them before joining a team. Or, go to your league’s free agent social for a chance to meet other teams that need players.
If the registration deadline has passed, or the league has reached capacity, we typically cannot accommodate additional registrations. You can reach out to the sports director if you have any additional questions
We can help! Full-ride scholarships are available. Just submit our scholarship form.
All league management takes place on our LeagueApps website. You’ll go here to register for a sport, manage your team, see your schedule, and more
Yes! In most of our leagues, you can create a small group. Anyone who joins the small group will be placed on the same team together.

You are allowed to consume alcohol during Stonewall KC events, unless specified otherwise. However, all players must abide by our code of conduct and not drink excessively. Belligerent or abusive behavior is not tolerated and may result in expulsion from the organization.
Unfortunately, no. Stonewall KC is a 21+ league. But we welcome everyone to come out and watch! Keep in mind some of our events include alcohol and adult behavior. Viewer discretion is advised.
Yes! We have a Stonewall KC Cheer Squad, specifically for supporters of the organization.
